While all the world is stuck inside
Dreaming the doors will open wide,
I'm not full of doom and gloom
I quite enjoy my silent room.

Playing with toys on my bed
I think up games inside my head.
I make a cubby house from my sheet
And put my favourite song on repeat.

I read stories and dream I'm there
Imagining I'm a princess with golden hair.
I make up songs and dance away
Knowing I'll be back at school one day.
