A desire to be close together
An addiction quite unrare
A hug to always have forever
It's not hatred, quite contraire
Cotton jumpers worn each day
Pockets to keep cold hands warm
A cup of coffee for you and I
Stationary we stomach the storm
Sadness like a soft blues tune
Lay your head down sombre to cry
Alas, you will have strength to render
Like a smile all you need do is try
Laughs and tears will crease a face
Sun will shine and clouds will rain
With our hearts we bound as one
Together we will be again
