INFECTION
As the summer grew hotter, the infection grew greater.
The small infectious disease has now taken over.
From the safeness of our home to the dangerous outdoors,
the world has changed not for better but for worse.
As we stay home to fight what we did not see
it seems that the world has the urge to pee.
The kids are home but still hard at work,
and the family pet has been tied to a tree.
Mum and Dad are controlled by the news,
while our only entertainment is to have a snooze.
But not to worry for much more,
as the world will slowly be restored
back to our old and busy ways,
where we will not be able to escape the craze.
Just while I end this poem about how great this infectious disease could mean
if only we realized that we've been freed.
