On the train

On the train
I stand. It's not far to school.
I look around and realize that it's the little things that count,
like the woman all dressed up for work but I can see the child in her eyes. and everyone reading the same newspaper and the same article. Funny how the things from all around the world can be printed on a few sheets of paper.It's almost my stop. I look around once more and smile at the little things that count,
as the train pulls into
the station.
