Dance is a place where it doesn't recall
Being short or being tall
There's many varieties jazz, balet, and tap
You put on a shoe, stand there and flap
When I step on the dance floor I put a smile on my face
Because the people in that room make it such a happy place
When I am at dance you will never see my crying
Especially when I leap, I feel like I am flying
Leotards, Tights, and little pink shoes
Those are some things in dance that you use
My favorite kind of dance I would have to say is lyrical
Because when I preform, it feels like a miracle
Dance is so very special to me
Because it's a place where I can be free
I want to thank God for all he has done
He is my hero, he's the most powerful one
