On a glowing summers day.
At Rainworth State School.
I see:
Orange striped basketballs bouncing away from my classmates on the oval.
Colourful thin pencils sitting on my desk.
Glorious green grass swaying on the wide oval.
Plain white sheets of paper laying on my long desk
I hear:
Loud irritating children thumping on the concrete hill.
Calm soft breathing flowing gently around the classroom.
Long thin pencils dropping onto students desks.
Calm nimble footsteps walking past our classroom.
I feel:
Soft tight shoes keeping my feet warm in the cold and frosty classroom.
Hot sticky uniforms heating my body on the oval.
Thick paper books silently laying on my desk.
Wide wooden benches sitting on the concrete floor.
