The Forest, whose trees were not close to bare,
Would challenge anyone who played it unfair.
Alive, as he was, who bore a big stare,
Could hide a traveller, in the maze of its lair.
“Oh, please let me go! That would be great!”
He challenged the forest’s unforgiving trait.
So, he was kept there, for much later than late,
To meet his end of an untimely fate.
“Look at that tree! Is that a river I see?”
The forest could not stand the cries of the triplet three.
“Just let us be! We just want to go flee!”
But he showed no mercy in letting them free.
The Forest, who’s feelings did not want to care,
Would conquer anyone who dared to compare.
Alive, as he stood, to glare (not to share),
Could hide a traveller, as it was safe, nowhere.
