scissors break through the film
faces of long-lost friends spread on the table
ready to burn away those friendships

I thought I could trust you
I thought that our friendship would last forever
I thought that this would be different

I found the messages
I found the places you went without me
I found the poison in our group

after two years of friendship
I told you my pain and trauma
and since you hurt me, I can’t face you anymore

now I won’t face you
now you’re not on my wall
now I burn our photos
