The One I Adore

You’re the person whom I love, the one that I cherish.
The one I would go with everywhere, every nook and cranny.
In reality, you are much more than you think.
You’re the one who gave birth to me, the one whom I rested in.
The one who gave me my bones and flesh.
The one who gave my intellect.
My looks and color, were all from you.
And a bit from my father too.
You gave a name for me, and installed the life inside of me.
You schooled me in my ABC's, my 123’s and life for me.
You encouraged me to go beyond, and corrected my mistakes.
You’ve fought against the world for me, and cleared a path for me to walk.
You’re more than a human being or a goddess.
You are my mother, the one I ADORE.
