Reach out
There are some times when you feel you can’t do it any more,
When you can’t not just throw up your hands and give up,
When you have to scream into your pillow on your bedroom floor,
When you’ve really had enough,
You reach out to your family.
And if you reach out, and fall into their loving tender arms,
And sob your sorrows and your problems out on their shoulders,
Then nothing can get you down or do you any harm,
Their love will shine through the burning smoulders,
And they will always be there to guide you through your troubles,
As calmly as a flock of pure white doves,
They will be there for you to reach out forever, because they love you,
And they are your family.
