Our Hopeful Drive

Life is the hardest vault to unlock in the universe.
People exit lives like cherry blossoms waving goodbye to spring.
We're replaced. We wear that armor of steel vulnerably tall.
To hide. To shut out the universe.
The bridge of gladiolus we drive on disintegrates,
the cracks in between devour us in darkness.
Our drive towards our goal is confirmed but
many times we take the wintery inevitable road.
Crystal snow freezing us to seek numbness.
As our journey reaches the end,
a sign reminds us: "hope is our starting engine to achieve,
if the imaginary car we drive ourselves is lost,
It will bring a forever-lasting borderline in between."
Till the end, we try to catch that sparking flame inside of us
We arrive at our first and last destination.
Forever wondering Hope.
