The eagle sat proudly on the old rotten log with wide, open eyes.
Her long beak sitting in the sky.
The wind fluttered across her feathers.
But she was held down with a tether.
She could see far in the distance.
And she was filled with persistence.
She pecked hard at the lead.
She was determined to find some feed.
The tight rope frayed in resistance.
She did not need any assistance.
The rope snapped in dismay
She then flew far away.
