I hope you don’t relate
Do not say it's like the movies.
Blank phone, sobbing because “Yeah, why would he ever like you?”
So sick of trying because you know that's how you got here in the first place,
Yeah, by trying.
People will tell you “Time will make it better”,
But that involves waiting,
Oh, but how you're sick of waiting.
Those sickly thoughts stretching like rubber bands,
That maybe you’ll be waiting forever?
You want to cry because once you do you will feel better,
And you are so desperate to feel better,
But crying is so hard when you're tired.
You attempt to talk, yet silence is easier,
Easier, because the silence is familiar.
It knows you.
