The Worm

The farm where I live is like a luxury suite,
I can gobble up anything I want to eat,
Except, of course, citrus or meat,
And I’d rather not have anything too sweet.
Every day I work and toil,
But I never get tired of slaving in the soil,
The job in my garden is easy, you see,
I eat up the dirt, and make it into worm pee.
As I wriggle along my usual route,
I collect every single piece of loot,
I squeeze through tunnels,
I struggle and squirm,
And really, life’s great, I love being a worm!
