Excessive exhales burning their throat.
Heart racing faster than their throbbing legs.
Unforgiving winds whipped against them like piercing arrows.
They attempted to overcome the impossible with sheer willpower.
Seeking for breath? It was redundant.
Waiting till tomorrow? No such thing.
Cracks and imperfections in their resolve ceased to exist.
The only thing worth their attention was the intimidating peak.
Difficult lunges gradually became rapid sprinting.
Overwhelming agony ached all over for only seconds.
Euphoria finally casting gigantic waves throughout their now stagnant body.
At last, they released a most deafening screech from such weak lungs.
The breeze carried its echo far and wide.
Trees slanted to listen and clouds cleared to shed light.
At long last, their hunger was sufficed.
Inevitably, their eyes will become hungry, once again.
