False Star

This elusive star gently placing itself in the thin cloth of the sky,
With its enervating agony masked in a deceitful layer of necessity,
Continually seeking this star in vain, may be the only reason some of us will fly,
Only to fall back to the adrift ship which aimlessly meanders around this vast sea of dubiety,

Just as some begin to distinguish their identity’s path in this world’s nebulous soul,
That star blinds those sanguine eyes with the deceit it breathes,
Those sanguine eyes which had a glisten that the abrupt collapse of their handcrafted path stole,
And those now lost eyes will wander around for its disoriented soul, in pursuit of another route to seize,

Perhaps this fog permeating the air in which our dreams reside is no barrier,
In the absence of that cunning star, it may have a diaphanous complexion,
To think that reaching this star will clear this dense fog, nothing is scarier,
Because this fog will gladly clear once we uncuff ourselves from this false star, perfection.
