Every night I go to bed,
with many thoughts inside my head
I look up at the shiny stars
I wish I could store them in jars
I lay there looking up so straight,
and ponder why I’m up so late.
The stars that twinkle in the night,
are hidden when there is some light.
The moon is large but looks so small,
and be ensured, it will not fall.
The moon in the night,
is a dazzling sight
The night is an astounding creation,
and we need to acknowledge it as a nation.
Before I turn off the light,
I think once more about night.
