An orange evening fills the sky
The sun fades away
The moon takes its place up high
Bats come out to play
Darkness floods the plain
Every nook and cranny
Nothing for it to gain
It lingers (looms) and feels uncanny
Crickets take over
As the birds stop singing
Owls glide past clover
Monkeys begin their swinging
A deathly silence fills the air
You start to feel a tingling pain
For light your eyes should prepare
Because the sun rises once again
