Seasons

At the dawning of the summer sun
The earth is warm, the sun’s ablaze
Children swimming in wavy water,
The sun shines down and exquisite flowers thrive.

As the Autumn leaves begin to fall,
In a swirl, they touch my face.
And the calm brush of the blowing breeze,
A shower sprinkles softly down.

Icy winter ground is thick with slush and sleet,
Coldness passes through the air,
The snow is light, and gives me a shiver.
The winds are wild, they chill and bite.

Spring is when the flowers bloom, the sweet scent fills the air.
The fields are filled with daffodils
As crisp green grass crunches under your feet.
