I float down gracefully,
The wind pushing me along.
Landing in a bustling town,
I have a longing for home
But the thing inside me breaks its leash,
This is what I was born to be.
Not a foot warmer, not a comforter,
But a destructive monster
That strikes as fast as lightning.
Disintegrating everything in my path
Peoples’ screams of terror echo in my mind
Could I be something else?
Can I be joy and warmth?
Yes-
Yes, I can.
