Living Sadness Forgotten

A cold tear ran down my face,
A life slipped away,
The cold day dawned on,
As a kind life soared away,
Was gone, never to be heard of,
A cold shiver ran down my spine,
The warm damp air surrounding the sea,
Caused my lips to dry,
The sound of a whale whined on,
As the salty tears,
Making me blind,
Ran into my mouth,
Staining my red mouth,
But a thousand words won't bring you back,
Neither will a thousand tears,
I know because I've tried,
I know because I've cried.
