Daisy

Daisy, Soft as sun, the days eye
The queen of the meadow
Make a chain, a bracelet, a necklace

Tender quiet sun
Brittle, breakable, plucked from it’s home
Yawns the dawn to dusk

Lovers gift sets adrift
The eye of the pond, eye of the day
Watcher of the waters ripple

Gingerly pressed against its will, to last forever
Whisper me your story’s, your history, your future
Whisper to me through the winds flow

Flower of life
Beautiful, subtle, small
Daisy, soft as sun, the days eye.
