Vintage store
I found an old clock at a vintage store.
It was placed at the dodgy end of town.
I brought it to the lad at the door.
He told me the price and my jaw dropped down.
In an act of surprise, I dropped the clock.
And heard the loud sound of the shattering.
Though Above the noise we heard ticks and tocks.
Finally, the shards finished jumping.
I then looked towards him quite suddenly.
He replied by saying “you have to pay.”
So, I brought out my purse reluctantly.
Greed filled his eyes and looked there to stay.
I paid and then walked out of the vintage store.
With a Broken clock and soon felt a bore.
