When I was sleeping, my eyes were closed as tight and I was trying to stretch my eyelids until it popped when I saw my own alarm clock.
I was late for school. It was already 8:50 am. I skipped breakfast and to change my clothes and pack my bag. I had to return my overdue science homework but I had no time to find it. I slammed the front door of my house and ran fast as I can.
I was running way faster than I ran at the Cross Country.
My breath was huffing and puffing and I couldn’t almost breathe. That was it. I couldn’t run anymore even though I was almost there to school.
Not until I saw a taxi. I told the driver, “Take me to the nearest school right now, please!”
First, the driver looked confused but he said “Whatever you say, kiddo.”
After I hopped on the ride, few more blocks I made it. 9:00 o’clock right on time. But there was no one lining up to class. I was super confused. I turned on my phone and looked at the date. I forgot it’s Saturday. No wonder the driver looked confused.
