Excellence Award in the 'National Treasures 2022' competition
A snowmelt of ochre graces the land
No other moments can compare to when the first leaf elegantly falls
Like a dancer at a royal ball
The crunch of leaves, the turning air
Braiding flowers and acorns in chestnut hair
No other seasons can compare
To autumn, beautiful and fair
Autumn sleeps
While winter weeps
And sunlight seeps out of summer
Though spring blooms, it leaves no room
to breathe in all those flowers
Autumn is humble, while summer is bright
A star glowing in pale dusk light
A wave of nostalgia blows over you
Dancing in the moon's phosphorescent blue
