Snow falls down like hailstones,
hitting and crashing all your homes,
I walk through the crunching snow,
talking to my mum as I go,
in the dark tired and weary,
with the night sky fogged and eerie,
all the streets have turned on lights,
that give me all the worst frights,
we walk home together freezing cold,
while looking up at the stars so bold,
all the leaves had fallen off the trees,
then there was a big strong breeze,
when we got home I sat in front of the fireplace,
while my mum prepared the pie base,
I looked out the window and saw the stars in the sky,
and then I smelt the delicious pie.
