I am a little speck in this great big world and this great big world is you and me.
The sun is shining and the clouds are white.
The stars are gone and the sky is bright.
It's morning time in Melbourne town and it's night time in Canada now.
In my house the lights are on but far away the lights are gone.
On the Earth the rocks are glittering and in the earth the gold and silver are glimmering.
Deep, deep below the earth the miners are mining. The miners find jewels and ruby shining.
Above the earth the men are doing roadworks on a sloping road. I watch from my window as they lay the concrete down the road.
Yay, the roadworks are done, you can come to my house.
