Is That Me!

I wake up eagerly,
Set for the day ahead
I open my eyes
And jump out of bed
I glance into the mirror
And what do I see
A beast looking creature
Staring at me.
Tangled brown hair,
Fatigued green eyes!
So the thing I say next
Will catch you by surprise.
It’s very unexpected
This just can’t be
For the figure in the mirror
Was… well…. ME!!
