The Watch

The fox was hunting the chicken.
The chicken didn’t notice it was picking,
the fox was low and slow because it did know that the chicken
would taste finger licking!
The dog was watching the fox,
it started to lick its chops.
It pulled on the chain
again, and again
until it heard a pop!
It was plain
the fox was game,
but not insane and it knew if it
fought the dog it would drop.
It took off like a bullet,
the chicken didn’t notice it was only a pullet.
The dog chased the fox it was wearing its lucky socks.
