Winter

Hail falls and rain drizzles,
Children shiver,
Parents cripple.
Puddles splash as feet drop,
For there is nothing to do in winter, oh no there is not.
Kids wipe tears from their little faces,
Winter has won what a disgrace.
Snow blasts through the icy air,
Whilst the storm reigns on.
What’s that?
Maybe it’s sun then again maybe not?
Finally it is the golden sun,
It’s come to rescue us from this icy hell,
That is known by the name,
Winter
Does that ring a bell?
