The Lonely Panda

Once upon a time ……
There lived a cute panda, she had lived in a warm hollow tree her whole life. On a Wednesday morning, she got taken away to the zoo. She had always wanted to visit the zoo, but never could. Because she felt lonely at home. Unfortunately, she didn’t know any of the animals in the zoo. Until one day Rainbow meet another cute panda named Sparkles, and they became the best of friends. They both knew how hard it was to be away from their families. On a Monday afternoon, their families were found and taken to the zoo as well. When rainbow and sparkles saw their mums, they asked them Are we going home soon! Both mums cried telling them both that they would not be going home and that this would be their new home for a while. Rainbow was very upset and needed to find a way to get out of this place and get her family home. She realized that she had missed her home and how warm the trees were when she fell asleep each night. She knew by the faces of her family that they missed it too. She knew that it would take a big plan for her and sparkles families to escape and go back home but it was a mission they were willing to take. As sparkles and rainbows looked around the zoo, they knew that there would be a lot of people keeping an eye on them to make sure they would not escape. So, they needed to hurry when no one was there. As the night came the sky was full of stars, rainbow had a feeling that she would not see stars like that again for a long time, so she took one more look. As the pandas looked at everyone going to sleep, they got ready. They ran out of their cages and snuck out of the zoo, they were most of the way home when, loud sounds were playing, right behind them. They came to the forest and across a lake, before they could catch them, they kept walking until the warm hollow trees that they very much missed were near. The forest looked as if it had come alive when they walked through it. They had learned an important lesson that day, don’t take things for granted as one day they could be gone with a blink of an eye. The End
