A leaf flapping in the wind’s sails
It flies, it falls, it flails
Falling ready for no stop
It flies, it falls, amongst the treetops soon to plop
It’s fluttering just like a butterfly
It soars, it flaps in the blue sky
Falling, it almost looks like it can fly
It flies, it falls, it soars so high
How did it fall, how does it stay?
How does it fly every day?
The green leaf is like wings in the sky
It’s more magical and majestic than a dragonfly!
