Barn Owl from deep sleep wakes up,
Looking out for a mouse to sup.
Swooping down from his tree,
Where he was hidden carefully,
Barn Owl searches for his meal,
Hoping his visions are real.
The bushes rustle, the trees creak,
Barn Owl decides to take a peek.
He spots a mouse scampering along,
And calls out a Barn Owl song.
Out come his friends - one, two, three,
In formation so cleverly.
A few squeaks and squawks the mouse is gone,
Lying waiting to be torn.
Dive in, don't get the least,
That's how the Barn Owl got his feast!
