2022
Finalist in the 'Unleashed 2022' competition
The impenetrable sleet hewed amongst the moon
Its almighty glory illuminating,
Stars envied the ice-cold showers
And its apnea kept the garden alive
The night of cloudburst could destroy
But it did not
It simply grew,
And if I was not a poet, but merely a girl
I would call it a rainstorm
But the jeopardy that it was
Deserved more than a heartless name
It deserved
A poem
