The sun once tired, now at rest
Shadows left to roam in place of light
These figures only goal to ingest,
Beings created from spite
Gazes they share similar to my own
Eyes which consume their sight.
They trudge around still unknown
For they are a byproduct of a plight
They leer at me, now my soul-
Features twist my thoughts not divulged
Nowt found as answers aren't whole
This creature has no place to be judged.
But beginnings forever have conclusions
It looks like it’s the end for me
I stare at the distance to spot a light ahead
I ponder if its hope or the light of death
