War engulfs all things beautiful,
Towns, cities, lives, all,
Its reasons are pitiful,
Money, power, a holy call.
War leaves deep scars,
Fatherless children,
Brother-less sisters,
Whole generations gone.
Millions die in a day,
Men, boys young and old,
Young, cheerful and brave,
A waste, a waste of gold.
War effects all in its path,
Humans, animals, trees,
An indiscriminative wrath,
War engulfs all things beautiful.
