Dark thick clouds swallow up the sky
Not letting the sun be able to say goodbye
Fear is painted on everyone’s faces
Everyone knowing what to expect
Like reading through a book by skipping pages
Although what we know we will never forget
People screaming, running away
It seems like today is the last day
Colour bursts out of a huge, dark stone
So bright we shiver down to our bones
So hot that it’s like fire in the summer
But before we can run away, all it does is smother
Trapping us underneath its burning flames
And nothing is left, not even our remains
Soon it eventually stops, realising what it has done
Although there is not one person left, no, not even one
