The Clouds Plague Me Today

The clouds plague me today,
As they did last night,
A heavy weight as I lay,
Blocking the green from sight –
Eyes met with only grey,
The air suddenly tight.

The clouds plague me as always,
Filling the empty rooms and purging my memory,
The sun lacks on these darker days
The backstory in this documentary.

The clouds plague me now,
Their shape strangely resembling yours,
They fill the picture frames and make vow,
That the clouds will not hide behind locked doors –
The form sparks an ache as you could,
And I sort of hope – that they would.
