A Beautiful Year

I love the summer,
With it’s sunny days, sunset nights, and boiling weather.
I look beyond, and gaze, At the pinkish sky,
While the wind blows away a feather,
And heat burns my eye.
I love the beaches,
And the crashing tide,
And with that, The 2022 year comes to an end.
I wish you all the best for the new year,
And to my Year Six friends,
I look at the stars, and remember you,
The fun memories me made,
The goals we’ve achieved, and all the fun we had,
Now it’s time to say farewell,
And I might see you soon, who knows?
