A speck in the vast blue sky
It soars with wide wings spread
It's beady amber eyes darting
The Wedge-tailed eagle flies
Scouring the land below
As his presence is known
The mouse scurries home
And the grasshopper dares not fulfil his name
The water is still save one small fish
That draws the Wedge-tailed eagle's eye
And he hovers
And he dives
And he beats his wings to the sky once more
Talons full
The Wedge-tailed eagle flies
