I sail, a lonely king of the ocean
As stars sing their grievances in ghostly song
The moon mocks the low-hanging treetops
And planets shine light in their wake
Fall down, little stars, let me see
What stories or secrets you keep
Please share your past with me
And let me into your lunar family
Mother Moon, Sister Star, Father Planet
Oh, how I wish to be one of you
A celebrity of astronomers
But is there more that meets the eye?
Your majesty so huge, as you live in a new world called space
Sometimes mysterious, yet full of grace
How do you do it? Oh, how I wish to be
Another mystery part of your lunar family
