Astray In A Text

From where the kite flies at a colossal height
The mesmerising words take upon the blight
I’ve left my house, my town, and world,
All that’s left is the absurd,
This preposterous world seems unknown,
One with pantheons to the throne,
I’ve fought dragons and found lost dreams,
Glissaded down glistening streams,
I am ready to take a leap,
After all I am in eternal sleep.

Upon the forest I take a rest,
Realising I am astray in a text.
