Everyday As Time Flies

Staring at the ceiling yet again
Each day becomes scarily similar to yesterday
The autumn breeze floats through the window
My bed bathed in a gentle blanket of golden sunlight
The trees dance with the wind
As the it breathes through its branches
The clouds float by speckling the sky
Like the brief thoughts that disturb the emptiness in my mind
My chest rises and falls
At the rhythm of my short breaths
I close my eyes as the night air stings my cheeks
The stars crowded in the night sky
The silent screams of midnight as another day begins
Everyday as time flies
