On The Plain

I sit silently on the plain
Watching the world go round
It twists and turns with all its problems
Souls that have been lost, will never be found

I sit silently at the foreshore
Watching the waves crash against the sand
Sometimes nature gets angry too
It’s too bad I can’t lend out a hand

I sit silently in the house
Watching the rain, lightning and thunder
I would love to scream like that
But where and when I wonder

I sit silently on the plain
Watching day and night go by
How long will I have to watch and wait
Until I have to say goodbye?
