Mother’s always late!
Tell me why, mother
You are always late.
Time seems to slow down
when we have to wait.
You turn around and say,
“I’ll see you after three”.
Is that an estimation,
or are you lying to me?
Just as I expected,
Mother came home late.
Claims she’ll come at three,
Then arrives at eight.
Every night,
I lie in bed and say,
“When’s mum coming home?
Tomorrow or today?”.
