My world was lit on fire. They say he's crazy but that's not true. Right?
The world did not end in a bang, or even a whisper, but rather, one scream at a time that slowly faded away. They were mine.
My happily ever after slowly faded around me as I tried to reach out to my dissolving world that no-longer existed. After years of making myself a better person, my ending was just tormenting me. Knowing I would fail, time and time again, I would fail.
There was a cold-sharp pain that entered near my spine, a bone chilling wave of realisation passed through me. Only one person was around when came the end. I looked down at my now warm chest. Blood. A pointed end near my heart. I had, quite literally, been backstabbed.
One last sound exited my body.
"CRUZ!"
Then it all went black.
He smiles with blood on his hands, they were right. Now I understand why they lit the match. He is crazy.
