What The Musicians Saw

The musicians came across a content girl,
And when they asked her name, it was Shirl.
She's got a car that acts just like a snail,
It needs no gas, so it goes on the rail.
She's not alone, she has a pebble,
A pet snake, and lives near River Hebbel.

The musicians arrived at the girl's amazing house,
And shuddered as it was guarded by a large brown mouse.
Who is that eating near the lake?
It's the girl cooking her green snake!
The girl then saw the newcomers looking,
And invited them to eat the snake she was cooking.

The guests were now scared as the mice around all sneered,
And Shirl's behaviour got suddenly weird.
The musicians then ran away into the bushes,
While being attacked by exploding cushions.
