Charlotte's Summer

BANG! - BASH! Charlotte immediately woke up, "What was that?" she said to herself. She ran downstairs to see what was going on. "You've got to be kidding" She said with a heavy sigh. "MUM!!! THE NEIGHBOURS DOGS GOT IN THE YARD" yelled Charlotte. Mum woke up and tiredly came downstairs. "THEY'RE MAKING A MESS!'' exclaimed Mum. "This is enough!" Mum said in an annoyed way, while walking out of the house. KNOCK KNOCK, A small girl opened the door "Hello, how may I help?" said the girl in a cheerful helping way. "Your dogs got in our yard" replied mum. "Oh I'm very sorry about that, ill call my mum downstairs" said the girl. While the two mothers were discussing, Charlotte walked up to the girl. "Hi, what's your name? mine is Charlotte" she said. "Hi Charlotte, my name is Olivia". "Wanna be friends?" asked Charlotte. "Sure!" replied Olivia. The two girls went up to their mums and asked "could we go in the house and play together?". "I guess a cup of tea wouldn't hurt" said Olivia's mum. "You read my mind!" mum laughed. "Oh and also I didn't get your name", "Mine is Kathy" mum said. "Mary" Olivia's mum replied. The girls rushed in the house and went upstairs to Charlotte's room. "WOW! you have a lot of cool stuff !" "Thanks! shall we fly my kite together?" asked Charlotte. "Sure!" Olivia said. The two girls ran outside in the garden , they played all day and they were having so much fun playing with the kite. "I'm having the BEST summer so far!!!" Charlotte said out loud. What a day! Charlotte made a new friend, yet it was only the first, many more adventures was coming her way this summer holidays! -THE END-
