I look up and wonder,
how hard it would be,
to be the only one shining
Up in the sky’s glee.

I would sit and wonder,
if you weren't really in the sky,
but right next to me,
so we could look each other in the eye.

I would cry and wonder
if this was my doing.
If everything would be different,
If I was always by you.

But in the night,
when it was silent and dark,
I remembered seeing you,
smiling, smiling down at me.
