Plane rides, car trips or a slow rolling ferry will take you to a family holiday
Your parents might say “want to go away?” or might say “not today”
The excitement that will run through you
Counting down the days till you go on your bright orange canoe
It will get you all hyped up all for one amazing but short week
You will remember the many memories at the cold running creek
But will never forget the quality family time spent
At that hilarious comedy event
The refreshing water splashing into your face as the orange sun sets
On your way back home you remember the good times you had
But very excited to get back to see your addictive iPad
You really enjoyed your time
But can’t wait to get back to your dog, your friends and your slime
Time to say goodbye
Just until you visit again in July.
